Note that, because he was a vetrinarian, Dr. Marshall wasn't really heard in the medical community. Not until he <a href="http://www.bvalphaserver.com/ftopicp-442832.html" rel="nofollow">quaffed a beaker</a> of the bacteria and developed the "mother of all ulcers" did recognition begin to form.
