well-worn straw broom

A simple straw-bristle broom that has been around the block.
Why It’s Here:
This thing might actually be building property, for all I know. I admit I haven’t been keeping an eye out for brooms, y’know, hanging around the property. It’s leaning against the swapmeet table, though, which raises the possibility that, even if it is building property, someone in the building will assume otherwise and claim it for their own. Such is the swapmeet.
Probable Recipient:
The building manager, I figure. Barring that? Someone who has always wanted to sweep, but doesn’t want to start out with anything too fancy.
