stained glass hand

A stained glass picture of a hand.

Why It’s Here:

Previous owner couldn’t stand to look at it after that last bad acid trip.

Probable Recipient:

Someone looking to add a hint of extremely proud parent flavor to their decor.

David Lynch’s film version of Dune:

So awesome.  I can understand the animosity from die-hard Herbert fans—Lynch took a lot of creative liberties—but what a beautifully ugly and generic viagra usa surreal film!

I bring it up because the minute I saw this stained glass thing, I thought to myself, “Father!  The sleeper has awakened!”

So awesome.

As for the hand, notice how the lead is cialis headaches'>cialis headaches configured to look like rays of energy emanating from the fingertips. Unsettling!

Yeah, the more we talk about this hand the better I like it. I think I might have to go claim it when I get home.

I’ll tell you what it is: it’s the right hand of takenness. Somebody clearly saw the value in that thing, because it was gone when I got home this afternoon.

    Damn. Damn and blast.

I had to check IMDB to make sure the generic cialis cheap' title='generic cialis cheap'>generic cialis cheap version of Dune you were talking about is the one I like. I especially enjoy when Sci-Fi puts on some four hour monstrosity they call the ‘director’s cut’ which contains, near as I can figure, 200% more wide angle shots and 50% more Baron Harkonnen boils. Anyway, back to IMDB. If you go look at it, the only photos are of Sting and Kyle MacLachlan (Paul) shirtless, making the production look more like Gay Adventures in Space then, well, Philosophically Confusing Adventures in Space (with gay).

Anyway, Patrick Stewart, Dean Stockwell, a creepy 9 year old Alicia Witt, Max von Sydow (Dr. Kynes. He was FANTASTIC in Judge Dredd) that guy who was the other guy in Logan’s Run… just a great goddamn movie. Also good is the Dune 2000 strategy game with John Rhys-Davies, who makes you realize that the only thing that could improve the David Lynch movie was if it had included John Rhys-Davies.

Your swap meet thing is nice too.
