Wow, a lot of good entries lately (after a too-long silence), but I think “Item: Brass pot/Why it’s here: Ass pot” tops them all; and the delicate subtlety of the <em> tag just makes it all the sweeter. Ass pot what your country can do for you; ass what you can pot for your country (or something).

Heh. Thanks, Jade; good to hear your voice again.
I’m hoping to shake things up a little bit—it’s been good updating again, but after about 130 or iterations of the Item/Why/Probable/Tagline formula, it’s chafing a little. So, well, we’ll just see what happens. I’d also like to get the site more real-time: the dark secret is that there’s a horrific delay between photo and posting at this point, and I’m feeling more inclined toward a free form (if still snarky, swapmeetish) What’s New This Week feel.
